Secure2Trust Client Features Secure2Trust© can provide you the following types of security configurations for your confidential documents: Prevent documents from opening outside your company's network: S2T can prevent your confidential documents from opening outside the company's network. Once a document is protected using the 'Active Directory' authentication the document will only open if the target computer is a member of company's secure active directory. Laptop users of your corporate will also be able to open the documents, if and only if they are connected to the company's network. For exceptional cases you can allow documents to be opened outside the company's network with a different set of authentications such as password, digital certificates or location groups. Allow document to open securely on remote computers outside company's network: Interchange digital documents securely with third parties or outside vendors even when they are not a part of your secure network. You can define location groups for vendors or third parties. A location file can be created and distributed to all those entities that are not a part of your secure network. Once these location files are imported after providing required password or secure key, the remote location computers can become a part of your virtual active directory group. This way secure documents can be opened on these remote computers. Incase of any theft of these documents from remote computers, the hackers still cannot open the documents on any other computer. Protect documents to be opened by the use of smart cards only: S2T allows you to protect documents with the digital certificate based authentication. Such a document can only be opened if the recipient uses his digital certificate. These digital certificates can be stored in smart card devices and thus these smart cards can act as a hard key to open the digital document. This option provides strong protection against password hackers or internal security threats. Protect documents using 256 bit password bases encryption: At a minimum level S2T can allow you to protect the confidential documents based on 256 bit AES encrypted password. Configure digital rights on protected documents: Given any of the above configurations, you can also put an additional level of protection on the contents of the document. For example once the document is opened by relevant recipient, you can restrict him form copy, paste, print and/or edit actions. This way you can define how you want your documents to be treated. If you do not want the contents to be changed, you can apply 'No Edit' protection. Define a life time of your documents: As an additional feature S2T provides you with a robust functionality of defining the age of the document. For example you can protect a quotation or some other document in such a way that it cannot be open before a specified date and cannot be opened after a specified date.
Secure2Trust Administration Features Secure2Trust© provides you with an administrator utility that can help you enforce your organizational document security policies on all your S2T users. Following is a list of some prominent features: Define Invisible Security: S2T administrator can define automated invisible security for important key personals. For example vice president of your organization might not be interested in applying the security on documents manually. The administrators can define some policies for him so that his document when placed in a specific predefined folder, are automatically protected with those policies. This way the vice president will not face any additional steps in his daily operations and will still be producing secure documents. Distribute Preconfigured Templates: Administrators can also define some preconfigured security templates and can distribute them remotely to individual users or user groups. These secure templates can help users to quickly apply security on a number of documents in just one click. And therefore the users are not required to switch to advanced dialogue boxes to apply security. Define Recovery Agents, Document Managers and Super Users: Administrators can also define different levels of management for documents. For example a recovery agent can recover any protected document in case if the author of the document is not available. The recovery agent is of course some one very important in the organization with a reliable trust. Similarly a document manager can re-configure the security settings of a document. And a super user can open any protected document without any need to authenticate himself. This is important to understand here that all these management levels are important key personals and they will require smart cards with their digital certificates.
